The "Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) Model" tool is an assessment that shows how your project stands out in the market and in your environment, how you can further develop it, what internal mechanisms you can use, and where your vulnerabilities lie.
Use this tool when you want to perform a diagnosis of your organization and get a better understanding of its issues. This process looks at both internal and external factors. We suggest filling in the SWOT template first and then using its results to help you fill in the diagnostics section.
We recommend conducting this process as a team and, if it applies to the organization as a whole, with the Board of Directors.
