The "Per Diem Calculator" can be used to calculate the per diems paid to your contributors when you tour.
This tool is useful on occasion - when preparing for a tour. It includes two ways to perform the calculation:
Use the Per Diem - Cost of Living Index tab to calculate and adjust per diems based on the comparative cost of living in the city you’re visiting. Use the Per Diem - Exchange Rate tab to calculate per diems based on the exchange rate in the country you’re visiting.
The rates in the examples are taken from the Union des Artistes. You can adjust them based on your pay policies, the rates recommended by your professional association, your collective agreement if applicable, etc.
