Placing the artist at the heart of a performing arts skills cluster, the Machinery gives the artist access to managers with specific expertise. The support team is made up of both the Machinery team members and specialized cultural workers.
The goal is to accelerate the development of established or growing artistic companies by mobilizing a cell of managers to respond directly to the artist’s needs. The support is therefore tailored to suit the company’s business models and objectives.
Support Units vary according to the unique reality of each creator, but all are deployed over a timeframe of at least one year. The artists can rely on the Machinery’s support to manage their growth, structure their not-for-profit or assist with daily operations. The model is flexible. The goal above all is to allow them to achieve their full creative and organizational potential!
A number of Support Units formulas are possible:
- Delegation of general joint management
- Organizational capacity building
- Development of a specific strategic focus
