Support Unit
Placing the artist at the heart of a performing arts skills cluster, the Machinerie gives the artist access to managers with specific expertise. The support team is made up of both the Machinerie team members and specialized cultural workers.
The goal is to accelerate the development of established or growing artistic companies by organizing a cell of administrators to directly answer to the artist’s needs. The support is therefore deployed to suit the company’s business models and objectives.
The Support Units‘ duration vary according to each creators’ unique situation, but all span on a minimal 3-year timeline. These artists can count on the Machinerie’s support to manage their growth, structure their organzation or carry certain operations following a flexible approach. The main goal is to autonomize the artists and their companies as well as allowing them to reach their full creative and organizational potential!
Long-term mobilization of a “tailor-made” team of managers who respond to the needs of artists and their companies. The Machinerie’s involvement evolves according to the company’s deployment cycle in order to act as a lever for the artists.
The Support Units are offered in four formulas:
– 360-degree accompaniment to strengthen general management
– Organizational capacity-building for a small work team
– Strategic work to undertake a specific deployment project with the help of a specialized team
– Flex service for one-time mandates that meet immediate organizational needs

Fee-based Service
Duration: 100-200 yearly hours adapable through time
Who is it for? Artists without all the foundations necessary to reach their potential or consolidate their management. Artists and companies need to have a sufficient budget to hire help in human resources.
