Requirements for the Implementation of a CRM

Tool #184

The "Requirements for the Implementation of a CRM" tool is a roadmap to setting up or redesigning your organization’s CRM. It is designed to help you organize your thoughts, identify your needs and goals, assemble your project team and compare CRM software.

CRM stands for customer relationship management. CRM software is used to maintain an internal database for the purpose of managing customer relationships. In addition to storing your contacts, it helps you optimize your organization’s interactions with its current and potential clients (e.g. audiences, donors, partners, funding bodies, etc.). Depending on the software, it may also be possible to use it to optimize business processes (e.g. direct mail, tax receipts, marketing campaigns, ticket sales, etc.).

As the products on the market are changing fast, a comparison of available CRMs is not included in this tool. We recommend that you fill out the Feature Comparison tab yourself to find the software that best meets your needs.
